J’ai remarqué, en regardant les photos, que les galopeurs n’avaient quasiment jamais de guêtres alors que les trotteurs en ont. Quelqu’un a-t-il une explication ?

Certains chevaux portent des bandes de travail, mais il est vrai que les guêtres et les protège-boulets peuvent gêner les chevaux qui ont des foulées exagérées lors de ce type d'effort, avec une amplitude n'ayant rien de commun avec celle des chevaux de sport.
